Yes, for your transactions. Porchyard imports bank statements and transaction history from CSV, and the import wizard maps your columns to the right fields so nothing gets lost in translation. Properties are added by hand, which takes about a minute each.
Porchyard is a responsive web application that works great on mobile browsers. A dedicated mobile app is on our roadmap for future development.
The Starter plan supports up to 15 properties and Growth up to 50, with the same features on both. Above 50, the Portfolio plan is arranged with our sales team. A property can hold several rentable spaces: record each one as its own lease with a unit label.
Every account starts with a 30-day free trial of Starter: every feature, for up to 15 properties. No credit card is required to start. Add a payment method any time during or after the trial to keep your account active, on Starter or on Growth if your portfolio is larger. If you do not subscribe, your account simply pauses.
Yes. Every plan has the same features, so the only reason to switch is the size of your portfolio. When it grows past your plan's property limit, move up to the next plan and your data carries over. Above 50 properties, talk to our sales team about Portfolio.
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover). For the Portfolio plan, our sales team can also arrange payment by invoice.
When you cancel, your account closes right away, so save anything you want to keep before you do. Your content is permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days and from our backups within 60 days, as our cancellation policy describes. Changed your mind? Contact us within those 30 days.
Start your trial during our launch period and you are a founding member: you keep the founding price, $19/month for Starter or $49/month for Growth, for as long as your subscription stays active, along with every feature we add to your plan, including the tax-season reports when they ship. Paid yearly, the founding price is $190 or $490 a year. The regular prices are $29 and $79 a month. Moving to a larger plan uses the prices at that time, and if you cancel and subscribe again later, the founding price does not carry over.
Absolutely. We use TLS 1.3 to encrypt data in transit, and your uploaded documents and database backups are encrypted at rest in our cloud storage. We never store your bank login credentials.
Only you and anyone you explicitly grant access to. Our engineering team has limited access for support purposes, governed by strict internal policies. We never sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.
Your data is stored on secure, industry-standard cloud infrastructure in the United States, with encryption in transit and encrypted document storage and backups. We maintain redundant backups and disaster recovery capabilities.
